JACK ENTERTAINS CROWDS THROUGH THE SNOW

The awful weather didn't stop the crowds from coming to see this performance - even when the major theatres in London were closing down, and our own Grove Theatre in Dunstable closed it's doors for the evening, the cast of Jack and his Big Stalk were preparing to go on stage.

Many thanks to those who braved the weather to come along and see the performances. For those who missed, select this link to see pictures from the show and the Luton News review...

FRASER COLIN ON THE ROAD TO EUROVISION

Fraser Colin, our Luton Musical Director and Actor who has recently stepped in for the Griffin Players to create the music for our 2009 Adult Panto JACK AND HIS BIG STALK, is now taking on a completely different kind of challenge.

The Emperors of Soul, of which Fraser is a founder member, are currently starring on Andrew Lloyd Webbers TV show, ' Your Country Needs You' (BBC 1, Saturday evenings in January). The winning group will perform a sing written for them by Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Eurovision Song Contest, representing England in Moscow later on this year.

The group were picked out of thousands that applied, and have got down to the final 6 on the live shows.

Each week, one act will be sent home - the decision of which is down to the public vote. Whilst they sailed through the first week, they still need our support. Make sure that you watch this the show and support the group. Select the links above for further information.
